I really like this, it very dark and simple but well expressed. Wish I could do that with tempra, I think its one of the hardest paints to work with.

Tempra, really? Hmm. For me, it's acrylic. It doesn't dry fast enough, so it's hard to mix colors. I also find that it's harder to color match with acrylic, especially if it doesn't have an underpainting of some sort.

Yeah, I don't like acrylic much either, prefer oils, but they require more cleaing and prep, etc, and I'm lazy, lol. But I love watercolors, lots you can do with them, but again, there's no reworking them, or not much.

Lol, anyhow, sorry to ramble, nice work!

I've never used oils before. Mostly because my art teacher told us that you have to clean them a certain way since they are toxic, and are a bit of a challenge to use. But yes, I love water colors as well. They are by far my favorite kind of paint to use. Easy clean up, easy use, great result! :la:
