Sorry I haven't been replying to your comments. Things have been a little hectic, but I'm back, for now.

Copic attempt number... five. First attempt at anything larger than a chibi with the markers. Did I mention that I love these things? They're a lot easier to use than I thought, and I love the smooth look it gives to things. They're also quite fun to use!

Anyway, I finished Puella Magi Madoka Magica a few weeks ago. It was good, but in my opinion, nothing too special. People act like it's revolutionary for being so dark, when sacrifice and death are part of the magical girl genre. Remember when Sailor Moon melted in the manga? I do i48.servimg.com/u/f48/16/58/79…
Bitching aside, it was still fun, but I found myself enjoying the witches more than the main characters, which is pretty sad to say, from my perspective, anyway. Not that Madoka and her friends were boring or bad characters, but there's something about the witches that really draws me to them. I thought their overall concept was cool, and... Okay, I'm going to admit it; The animation techniques used on the witches were the main reason I got into Madoka. I haven't been into magical girls since I watched Sailor Moon as a child. I came for the witches, and got a pretty cool new take on a pretty old concept.

That said, Charlotte. Mother fucking Charlotte. I want to be this witch! Yeah, she was only in a five or six minute scene, but I love the childish themes that surround her, her design, everything. I even see myself in her, you know. I too become a giant, gluttonous caterpillar that eats fucking everything. Nom nom nom.
Everyone likes to draw a humanoid version of her. Me? I don't see whats wrong with just drawing the dessert witch in all her glory. Never give up, Charlotte!
